POPulus is Troy University’s premier Popular Music Performance and Production ensemble, showcasing dynamic performances across rock, pop, R&B, country, and hip hop. Focused on original music, live touring, recording, and full label integration, the group blends diverse influences into a modern performance-driven sound. It also provides hands-on experience for students who aspire to be audio engineers, producers, etc. to develop their craft.

Rabbithole
Rabbithole is a six-piece multi-genre metal band from Dothan, Alabama, blending nu metal, alternative metal, grunge, rap, and experimental influences into a dynamic heavy sound. Formed in 2025, the band combines technical musicianship with unpredictable songwriting to create an immersive and constantly evolving listening experience.

Chance Stanley
Chance Stanley is a Marietta, Mississippi singer-songwriter blending classic country roots with Americana and Red Dirt influences into his own authentic sound. Focused on touring, recording, and original music, he recently released his first Ilium Records single, “Next Town,” with additional music and performances continuing to build momentum across major streaming platforms.

Sound of the South
The Troy University Band Program is the university’s largest student organization, featuring the nationally recognized “Sound of the South” Marching Band, pep bands, concert ensembles, and smaller performing groups. Through performances at athletic events and concerts, the program continues to energize audiences while representing Troy University with excellence and tradition.
